Do you have a natural health or beauty question you would like answered? Are you curious about a certain ingredient? Are you happy with your skin? Are you looking to detox your beauty cabinet?

I’ve been studying, researching and working in the natural beauty industry for 16+ years, with a focus on beauty from the inside and out.

What’s most important to me is integrity. I must be able to look each and every one of our customers in the eye and speak honestly from my heart that we have the most pure and effective products currently available. Without compromise. Simply, a carefully curated collection of ethical, natural and organic products that deliver high performance, and that I’ve been on a personal mission to find for my own use.

You won’t find any naturally derived ingredients (that are considered eye and skin irritants) in our hair care. You won’t find any mica frosts (that can create micro-tears on the skin and cause irritation) in any of our makeup products . You won’t find any skin care brands that use a cheap reconstituted organic aloe (lacking active components) as a main ingredient for their products. You won’t find any ingredients that are a potential hazard to you or our beautiful environment.

What you will find, and do little star jumps of joy over, is what you’ve been looking for all your life. Natural and ethical products that work! Completely natural hair care that delivers salon quality results. Makeup packed with organic ingredients that help to heal the skin whilst providing a beautiful natural coverage. High performance organic skin care that is made from the highest quality nature-intact ingredients, sourced and made by natural beauty industry experts who care about integrity of ingredients and the long term health and appearance of your skin.

My target is to help you find the ‘right’ skin, body and self-care rituals for you (whether it is a product we stock or not), so that you can be a happier, healthier and more naturally beautiful version of yourself. The kind of beauty that shines from within, so that your beauty care products simply enhance the true beauty that you be, as opposed to ‘covering up’ what doesn’t need to be.

Please email me at samantha@benaturallyou.com with any and all queries. I am here and happy to help.

  1. Hi Sam 🙂
I was just wondering if you could recommend a full skin care regime for combination/dry skin.

    Kind regards,

    Jasmine x

  2. Hi Jasmine,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I sure can recommend a regime. It all depends on which brand you are interested in, so below is an outline for those that we love, so you can determine which you feel best suits you. We do our best not to go overboard with the number of brands that we stock here. Reason being
#1: we don’t want to confuse you.
#2: quite frankly there just aren’t that many brands that we feel deliver amazing results with complete integrity in ingredients, the sourcing of ingredients, manner in which the ingredients are extracted, and the choice of high quality ingredients.

So … in saying all that, I can put my hand on my heart and say that all skin care products on our shop are those that I personally have used, still use, and rotate within my own skin care ritual on a 3 month basis. And you’ll get good results with all. It’s all about finding what is best for you personally. So perhaps try the one range that jumps out at you as a ‘favourite’ for a while, and then try another brand. You’ll soon know which one is your ‘perfect’ fit. Skin health is also determined on what we put in our mouth, so remember to drink an adequate amount of good quality purified water, and base your food choices around pesticide-free fruits and vegetables. Ensure you’re getting the good fats from avocadoes, extra-virgin cold-pressed olive and hemp oils etc etc. But to get back to the original question, re: skincare …

I have created a RECOMMENDATIONS FOR page within our shop so that you can see the products that are best for different skin concerns. If you have combination skin then it sounds like your oil production could do with a little balancing, so our OILY SKIN / ACNE page would be helpful, as all products within that page help to balance oil production as well as hydrating the skin.

I do hope that helps. I am sorry that I can’t specifically name one option. The reality is … if the products aren’t incredibly fabulous at working with the natural function of the skin, we don’t stock them. If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Love x Sam
