5 minutes with natural beauty, Lindy Klim
FOUNDER OF MILK BABY, DJ, MODEL AND BALINESE PRINCESS
I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT … scented candles.
I love them!
I RELAX BY … exercising. It always helps me have a better outlook on the day. At night I also like to spray my Nighty Night Room spray from my Milk baby range. This has a lavender base and really helps me wind down at the end of the day.
I LIKE TO … spend time with my family, usually in a nice warm climate. I am always at my best when it’s sunny and we can be outside.
I THINK BEAUTY IS … different for everyone. It really is in the eye of the beholder.
MY FRIDGE USUALLY CONTAINS … a lot of food in varying types. I have to cater for my husbands rather large diet, my children’s growing appetites and also myself. After just having baby Frankie my fridge is stocked with cabbage leaves to help assist with breast feeding.
MY EXERCISE ROUTINE IS … always first thing in the morning. Again this really helps for me to have a positive outlook on the day. If I am unable to get to the gym I will always make sure I fit in a bike ride or walk with the kids.
MY FAVOURITE BEAUTY TREATMENT THAT LEAVES ME LOOKING AND FEELING NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL IS … a good nights sleep and lots of water!!
MY NUMBER ONE BEAUTY TIP IS … to smile. No-one likes a debby downer and you always do look more beautiful when you are smiling. It’s easy – try it!
Lindy Klim (originally Anak Agung Rama meaning children of the King) is an Australian born Balinese princess – her late farther Oak Rama married her Australian mother in the early 70’s.
Starting her modeling career at the age of 20, Lindy first launched her career on the catwalk accepting bookings for fashion shows from Gucci and Chanel, as well as being a regular on the runway during Sydney and Melbourne fashion week.
When her husband, Michael, was developing his range of Milk skincare products for men she was a new mum and pregnant with their second. Lindy could not find a skincare range for babies that she felt confident enough to use on her very young family, so she decided to develop her own range, based on natural ingredients, and hence, Milk Baby was born. Lindy wanted to create a product that was affordable, looked good in the home and that was beneficial to the enhancement of wellbeing.
Most recently Lindy has launched her career as a DJ. Lindy also supports charities including Brainwave, Sids, Bali Orphanage, Sumba Foundation and the Witchery (Silver Diary) Ovarian Cancer Campaign.
