tried and tested: Live Native

A little while ago I was very fortunate to have been introduced to Live Native – the toxin-free range of cold-pressed vegan organic skincare products – and meet the founder Vicky Ewbank. After having received an email from Vicky, we got chatting (and chatting, and chatting about our similar love for organic, vegan life-loving lifestyles) which led to many things, one being me eager to try her delicious range of skincare … so I ordered a little parcel of pretty much everything, as you would expect. 🙂

What I ordered:
Essential Earth Exfoliating Cleanser
Pure Native Cleansing Balm
Botanic Earth Cacao Mud Mask
Essential Mist MSM Toner
Essential Beauty Serum
Essential Gold Rejuvenating Eye Balm
Essential Woman Frangipani Moisturiser

What I particularly love about the Live Native Range:
Vicky suggested that I ease in to the range by trying just a few products at once and slowly building up to the full range, but me being the eager beaver that I am, I couldn’t resist diving straight in and giving myself a lovely Live Native facial. Can you blame me? It ticks all my boxes: vegan, organic, made fresh in small batches, and something I hadn’t tried before: raw.

I had a feeling that the products would be beautiful but I wasn’t prepared for such a fabulous result with my complexion. After the first application of all products, I noticed instant results: my skin glowed!

So many things I love about this product range, and so difficult to chose a favourite product, but if I had to then the Essential Earth Exfoliating Cleanser would be my top pick. But be prepared, it does look like a little pot of mud, and we’re not so conditioned to think of our skin care products as brown in colour, but trust me this is one fab find! It leaves skin looking and feeling soft, smooth and deliciously cleansed. How does it do this: Absorptive Moroccan Rhassoul Clay extricates dirt and oil by actively assimilating with, and removing trapped particles deep within the pores. Oats provide for superior exfoliating. Nutrient active Hebridean Kelp replenishes essential minerals and sulphur-rich anti-inflammatory MSM helps build vital collagen. Argan, Calendula and Coconut oils clear the pores providing the skin with essential fatty acids to moisturize, self-balance and give protection from bacterial infection. An aromatic blend of soothing Chamomile, Calendula and Liquorice soothes inflamed skin.

Other favourites of mine were:
the Botanic Earth Cacao Mud Mask that I love to lick off my face. Yes, Live Native is so pure that you can literally eat it. Leaves skin looking and feeling refreshed, clean and clear. Just how I love and hope it to be.

What is it? rhassoul clay + cacao powder + acai fruit pulp + Spirulina + MSM from pine trees + acerola fruit pulp + vanilla extract + 23K edible gold flakes.

The Essential Gold Rejuvenating Eye Balm with 23k gold. Add a little luxury to your life with this little pot of indulgence to help lift dark circles and reduce puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles. It really does work.

What is it? coconut oil + raw shea butter + sunflower oil + cacao seed butter + comfrey extract + argan oil + carrot root extract + candelilla wax + rosehip extract + natural vitamin E + rose otto essential oil + sandalwood essential oil + frangipani + rosemary + vanilla + 23K edible gold dust.

What I dislike about the Live Native Range:
Nothing. It’s F-A-B!

So, all in all if you’re looking for a skin care range that ticks every box and even others that you didn’t think of then look no further than Live Native. You’ll struggle to find another brand that is as pure and effective. Trust me, your skin will LOVE it. I travel A LOT, and Live Native continues to be my go-to brand when my skin is in need of tender loving care.

Something very exciting to add:
Live Native is available to buy here at Be Naturally You
