Bliss Elixir provides a collection of organic, naturopathic, powdered plant supplements based on ancient knowledge and modern science, for optimum wellness, longevity and beauty from within.
Unlike tinctures, capsule, tablets and teas which are commonly used by naturopaths, powdered Bliss Elixir herbs have no alcohol content, are highly bioavailable, and retain a higher level of active constituents when prepared correctly. There is no waste, the whole plant is ingested, the herb is tasted, increasing its effects and they can be added to carriers such as warm plant milks or honey instantly and conveniently.
Adaptogens are not a new concept. They have been used for thousands of years in traditional medicine systems. When we look at traditional Eastern medicine, we find the use of herbs in every day life to strengthen the biological, mental and spiritual systems in their entirety, as well as to increase longevity. In Ayurveda they are called rasayanas or rejuvenative herbs, in Traditional Chinese Medicine they are Qi (energy) tonics, or blood, Yin or Yang tonics. This use of herbs for fortification, resistance to stress and elevation of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing is now being adopted by the mainstream West, where they have been coined “Adaptogens”. They literally increase your adaptation energy and therefore also play a key role in disease prevention.

WHAT WE LOVE MOST ABOUT BLISS ELIXIR
Whilst searching for a nutritional support brand for our online shop – Be Naturallyou – I stumbled across Bliss Elixir. Having spent 6 years searching, {yes, I’m serious} as there wasn’t anything that had previously sparked an excitable interest, Bliss Elixir was the bees knees, ducks nuts and unicorn of exactly what I was searching for and hoping to bring to our shop. {cue: happy dance}
Because here’s the scoop … spending a fortune on nutritional supplements that are based on powdered vegetables and grains is, well, quite frankly a waste of money, in my opinion. You’re better off eating the actual whole food bursting with phytonutrients and enzymes. Bliss Elixir tonic herbs, on the other hand, contain herbs that you most likely don’t eat (or come across) on a day to day basis. Herbs that are incredibly beneficial for your body, mind and beauty. It also helped that the founder – Georgia – is absolutely lovely. Another critical factor, from my point-of-view, when selecting brands, as I’m a big believer that energy is transferred in to the products that people make.
As you can imagine I have a shelf of all the Bliss Elixir blends and single herbs at home, and pick and choose the blend(s) I take based on how I’m feeling. I like to add a teaspoon to a cup of warm hemp mylk and a tiny dollop of raw organic ‘ethical’ honey.

This purifying skin and mood tonic could quite possibly be my favourite. Especially in the summer months when watermelons are in season. It’s like a match made in heaven – a teaspoon of rose in a freshly blended watermelon juice to quench thirst and provide an antioxidant and vitamin C boost for beautiful hair and skin. And so much more!

HAVE YOU TRIED BLISS ELIXIR? WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THEIR PRODUCTS?
Our brand and product selection is based on thorough research, based on 20+ years of industry experience. If we are not certain that an ingredient is safe and effective at bringing about desired results, we won’t stock the product. ‘Natural’ and ‘organic’ products and online shops are becoming more prevalent these days. Whilst this is great, it also is rather confusing, as many ‘natural’ and ‘organic’ brands out there contain toxic ingredients that sound ‘natural’ or ‘naturally-derived’ but are indeed irritating to the skin and internal organs. If you are unsure about any ingredient, product or brand, please don’t hesitate to get in touch in the comment box below.
